Vision - Ticket To The Moon Social Responsibility

  • Labor conditions:
All the TTTM staff benefit from social security, pension, and a basic salary higher than the minimum salary in
Bali. Daily work is 8h (5.5 days a week), no children labor.

  • No waste in factory:
Everything is used or recycled (eco-friendly bags range made from the spare fabric generated while
manufacturing hammocks).

  • Foundation in Sumba Island:

In 2006, the Ticket To The Moon Foundation was created to formalize the help to the Sumbanese Kodi tribe (East Indonesia) in the fields of health, education, culture and development.

Ticket To The Moon offers the possibility to other partners to commit in their relief program. The aim is to improve their living conditions meanwhile preserving their ancestral culture.

Ever since, many concrete actions have been implemented:

- a primary school was opened
- new roads were built
- a well was dig for accessing clean water
- the tribe has been subjected to malaria screenings on a regular basis
- training for youngest to build the traditional Kodi houses
- providing nets to avoid bomb fishing which destructs the ocean bottom,
- teaching waste management...

Ticket To The Moon took an important part to this project from the beginning and distributes around 16% of his annual profit to support the foundation.
